Dance styles range from Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop & Breakin including Boys Hip Hop, Cheerleading, Drama, Musical Theatre & Singing.

Tap Dancing is an exciting rhythmic dance style which focuses on timing, technique, rhythms and co-ordination. Class emphasis tap terminology and generally consist of a warm up, travelling work across the floor and combination work. The intricate footwork makes it great to watch and a delight to listen. Come and enjoy the art of Tap Dance.

Contemporary dance is a style that is influenced by both ballet and jazz. It is an expressive dance form with greater range of movement. Music used ranges from alternative to acoustic to rock and pop. Principles include centering, alignment, contraction, release and suspension.

Jazz is a technical dance style involving kicks, turns, pirouettes, jumps and travelling diagonal work. Your stamina, strength and flexibility will be defined and refined. The class progresses from a warm-up to travelling sequences into a choreographed performance routine.

This class is full of energy and combines dance, tumbling, stunts, pyramids, pom-pom motions, jumps, kicks and more. Seen at major championships and sporting events. Characteristics include clean and precise motions and techniques as well as visual effect from group work. You will learn to use cheer motions to memorise cheers and master the art of performing them.

Classical Ballet is a traditional and technical form of dance which provides the necessary grounding for all dance forms. It focuses on grace and discipline and improves posture, strength and flexibility. Classes incorporate the French vocabulary of steps, poses and graceful movements from pointed feet, turnout, turns and rises. Exercises are undertaken on the ballet barre in the centre of the room and travelling work from the corner.

This class combines acting, music and song. It teaches students how to read and interpret a script, improvise in character, connect with an audience and perform on stage. We cover the fundamental aspects of the art of acting with a focus on physical movement and gesture. The singing class consists of vocal warm up, lyrics, melody, correcting pitch, sounds, mouth shapes and projection on the stage. If singing is a passion, this class is a fantastic way to start.

Hip Hop is a style danced primarily to hip hop music and seen commonly in clubs, on the streets or in music video clips. It includes a range of styles from funk, popping, locking, house, krumping, old school and more. The style varies between Teacher as hip hop is an individuals interpretation of the music and their personal expression. It is a freestyle form of dance with emphasis on execution, body isolations and control and rhythm.
